Goldie Pritchard honored with President's Award

Goldie Pritchard, co-director of MSU Law’s Academic Success Program, was honored with the 2014 President’s Award from the Davis-Dunnings Bar Association for her commitment to student achievement.

Pritchard also heads the Legal Education Opportunity Program and teaches an academic skills course and co-teaches a bar preparation course at MSU College of Law.

“At some point during their three years of law school, every student has contact with our programs,” Pritchard said. “We’re here to make sure every student is successful.”

Along with her work at MSU Law, she has served as an attorney mentor and chair for the Davis-Dunnings Bar Association Bar Passage Program, along with chairing the ad-hoc scholarship committee. She has practiced family law and served as an international development consultant for projects in Africa.

Pritchard holds a master’s degree in education from Grand Valley State University, a juris doctor from Seattle University School of Law and bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Davis.
